British Lawnmower Museum

Discover the fascinating world of the internationally famous Lawnmower museum and have a truly unique experience.

This quirky Museum marks the culmination of a dream of ex-racing champion Brian Radam, and has now become one of the world’s leading authorities on vintage lawnmowers and specialists in antique garden machinery.

You can book a guided tour or simply pop in and learn more of the extraordinary history of the garden machine industry. Included in this unique national collection are manufacturers not normally associated with the garden industry, names such as Rolls Royce, Royal Enfield, Perkins Diesel and many more. Most of the exhibit’s technical and industrial artefacts are from the Victorian and Edwardian era. The restored exhibitions are devoted to keeping a small part of British engineering Heritage alive.

The museum retains a character not often seen in these modern times so if you're near Southport pop along, it's only a short walk from Southport station.
