Wreckfish has already enjoyed a rave review from Guardian food critic Felicity Cloake and has been bustlingly busy since it opened in October last year.

Owner Gary Usher has made a name for himself by cashing in on his popularity by crowdfunding a series of restaurants which has not let his backers down.

The contemporary fare on offer at Wreckfish follows in the footsteps of Chester’s Sticky Walnut and Burnt Truffle in Heswall and for a relatively high end restaurant it has a laid back, welcoming atmosphere.
